Chip Dicks is a seasoned professional with more than 25 years of experience in real estate, zoning and land use work. Chip served as an elected member of the Virginia General Assembly during the 1980′s and since that time has represented trade associations and business interests before state legislative and regulatory agencies. On real estate projects, Chip works with clients to identify and refine strategic goals and establish an implementation plan that meets the client’s goals and timelines. Chip’s creative approaches and his diligence to achieve results for his clients have earned him a reputation of one of the best development lawyers.

Scott began his career in financial services in 1999. Prior to that he was a business owner and hospital administrator for two veterinary practices in Alexandria, Virginia. He attended George Mason University and also attended The American College to expand his practice into the area of ”Special Needs” planning. This highly specialized area of financial planning helps people that have children or adult dependents with special needs plan for their financial future. His attention to detail and dedication to the team will allow him to serve the current and future members through NSWC Financial Services. Scott is an active member of NAIFA, “National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors” and has been the President of the local NAIFA-Fredericksburg in 2002 and 2007. He is also a member of AHIA, “Association of Health Insurance Advisors”.

As Director of Marketing and Communications, Marie is responsible for MRIS marketing, training, events, research and communications (including social media). She holds an MBA in Marketing and BA in English. An avid blogger Marie is passionate about helping real estate professionals develop smart, effective marketing strategies. Prior to joining MRIS, Marie was the Director of Marketing at AOL Advertising. She has also developed advertising campaigns for large and small brands, utilizing both on and offline tactics.

Tim Makoutz comes to RBI with over 20 years of business development experience in the residential real estate lending industry. As a mortgage banking veteran, Tim has held Sr. Account Executive and VP/Regional Management positions in the Retail, Wholesale and Correspondent lending channels with some of the nation’s largest financial institutions including JP Morgan Chase, GMAC and Bank of America. Well known in the Mid Atlantic region for his track record of success and building strong, long lasting relationships, Tim brings an inherent passion for customer service and the drive for excellence to RBI.

As a broker Brooke manages an office of over 30 independent contractors producing over $100 million in volume each year. She coaches individual real estate agents to help them improve their businesses and reach their goals. Brooke is a graduate of Virginia Association of Realtors’ Leadership Academy (2010), held FAAR’s Professional Honor Role (2009), Graduate of the Virginia Association of Realtors Instructor Training Institute (2008), Certified Residential Specialist (2007) and received a Bachelor’s of Science (1999). Brooke is the Treasurer of FAAR (2 year term begins in 2011).
