Position description:
An instructor is responsible for teaching RECA’s curriculum in a manner that will create an educational atmosphere conducive to the professional growth of real estate agents.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Delivers RECA curriculum in a manner that contributes to a climate where agents are actively engaged in meaningful learning experiences. 
  • Identifies, selects, and modifies instructional modalities to meet the needs of the agents with varying backgrounds, learning styles, and special needs.
  • Communicates effectively  
  • Models professional and ethical standards  
  • Participates in training and continually seeks professional growth
  • Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned 

Education, Certifications, and Work Related Experience:

  • Broker License preferred for real estate agents
  • Bachelors preferred for non-agents
  •  Teaching experience valued
  • A willingness to share industry knowledge with others
  • If desiring to teach designations/certifications, must possess that  designation/certification

Knowledge-base Requirements:

  • 3 years of experience in subject area
  • Operational knowledge of the Internet and web-related technologies

Technical Competencies and Skills:

  • Possesses strong oral and written communication skills
  • Works independently with little direct supervision
  • Demonstrates strong work ethic to achieve RECA’s goals
  • Utilizes all recommended computer applications

Working Conditions:

  • Physical Ability: Tasks may involve extended periods of time
  • Sensory Requirements: Some tasks require visual perception and discrimination.
  • Some tasks require oral communications ability.
