earth-day Did you know that there are special lending programs for Energy Efficient Green homes?  How about the Fredericksburg Area Networking Groups that meet frequently to share Green resources and referrals?  Whereas many agents have disregarded the importance of the Ecological movement, many of your clients have not.  It’s important for agents to understand the needs of the client and to help them find solutions to problems they may not yet know exist. 

Energy efficiency is on many minds in this economic climate.  The money that can be saved, could help with affordability issues for the consumer.

Description: This course offers the student a strong understanding and introduction of what green building is and how the term relates to their profession. It reviews marketing and networking, green facts and new initiatives currently available to the public. This course defines green building, an overview of systems and
materials, financing tools and tax incentives. This course offers an excellent overview of what real estate
professionals may see as clients begin to show interest in these new types of renovations. The course
will review the energy rating and certification process and qualify a real estate professionals’ role as
these new inquiries enter the marketplace.
